IMD comes in airless pump packaging. You may need to press the pump 5-6 times on first use to prime the bottle, which is totally normal in an airless bottle! Once primed, the bottle is activated and it’ll dispense the product smoothly.

  • Don’t shake the bottle before or after use
  • Always store in a cool, dark place

How to introduce IMD into your routine

Step 1

Patch test

Start with a patch test - apply ½ a pump on your jawline or on the skin in front of your ear (morning & night). If there is no adverse reaction within 24 hours, you’re good to go! 

Step 2

Start slow

For the next 4-5 days, use 1-2 pumps of IMD as the last step in your PM routine. Pump it directly on your skin and spread it evenly all over your face and neck.

Step 3

Build into your AM routine


If your skin takes well to it, start using IMD in your AM routine too - as the last step before sunscreen to seal all your skincare actives and strengthen the skin barrier.

IMD is a lipid-rich potent formula - it contains 20x more ceramides than average moisturisers. A little goes a long way!

You can start using IMD in the quantity given below and then adjust as per your skin’s needs.

Dry skin

Can I use IMD with actives?

Absolutely! IMD can be safely paired with all actives - doing so proactively helps protect your skin barrier.

Don’ts

Skip combining with: Other ceramide-rich products or very occlusive layers. In case you do so, then ensure that you use a good cleanser in the PM routine to avoid any skin congestion.

Can I use IMD year-round?

Can I use IMD year-round?

Yes! IMD’s lightweight texture makes it perfect for summer and monsoon. During winter, feel free to use 3-4 pumps for extra nourishment!

When will I see results?

IMD is a barrier-repairing moisturiser - and barriers are not rebuilt in a day :) 

Don’t expect overnight changes. But you will notice your skin feels softer, calmer, more nourished and less prone to dehydration. Over time you’ll notice that your skin barrier is more healthy and protected.

If you have irritated or inflamed skin, expect immediate soothing & cooling results with IMD.

How long will the IMD mini last me?

The bottle should last 10 to 14 days, depending on how many pumps of IMD you use every day.
